Intramuros, Manila — As part of ongoing efforts to enhance services and opportunities for the Letran community, Colegio de San Juan de Letran recently welcomed representatives from Kimstore, one of the country's pioneering online technology retailers, for an exploratory meeting to discuss a potential collaboration.

The meeting centered on identifying opportunities that could provide Letranites, faculty members, employees, alumni, and parents with greater access to practical, reliable, and affordable technology products and digital solutions that support academic, professional, and everyday needs.

Present during the exploratory meeting were Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando P. Jose, O.P., Rector and President; Rev. Fr. Bejay Namuag, O.P., Vice President for Financial Affairs; Mr. Bryan Lato, Strategic Marketing Consultant; Kimstore President and CEO Ms. Kim Lato; and Ms. Hazel Espinosa, Kimstore Marketing Manager.

Among the initiatives discussed were possible campus-accessible technology solutions, including the availability of gadgets and accessories through designated channels within the Colegio, participation in campus activities and events, technology showcases, and exclusive promotional offers for members of the Letran community.

The proposed collaboration also explored ways of making essential technology products more accessible to Letranites, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, power banks, charging accessories, earbuds, compact cameras, desk and handheld fans, and other digital lifestyle essentials that support learning, productivity, communication, and convenience.

For Kimstore, the visit forms part of its continuing efforts to expand community-based initiatives beyond its online presence and engage directly with educational institutions. 

While discussions remain in the exploratory stage, both parties expressed optimism about the opportunities that such a collaboration may bring to the Letran community. Further announcements will be made once formal agreements have been finalized.
