The Letran Alumni Association (LAA) successfully hosted President’s Night on April 18, 2026, at Gloria Maris Restaurant in Greenhills, convening batch presidents across generations in a spirit of camaraderie, alignment, and renewed commitment to the Colegio.

The event brought together batch presidents to enhance coordination, communicate institutional priorities, and mobilize alumni support for upcoming Colegio programs. Present in support of the event were Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando P. Jose, O.P., Rector and President; Rev. Fr. Jose Martin L. Sibug, O.P., Executive Vice President; and Rev. Fr. Victor Calvo, O.P., Athletics Moderator. In his message, the Rector and President emphasized the vital role of alumni solidarity in advancing the Colegio’s academic pursuits, calling on Letranites to remain engaged and to continually “come back home” to their alma mater.

On behalf of the LAA, President Dr. Alfred Gueverra, together with the Association’s committees, presented the strategic direction for alumni engagement. Key initiatives include expanded alumni privileges through the Alumni ID discount program, merchant partnerships offering exclusive perks, strengthened homecoming activities, and the ongoing digitization of alumni records.

The evening was further enriched by an inspiring address from Associate Justice Michael Frederick Musngi of the Sandiganbayan and distinguished Letran alumnus (Elementary – 1978; High School – 1982). Justice Musngi shared reflections on his formative years in the Colegio and expressed his commitment to support the institution’s academic programs and development initiatives.

The event concluded on a celebratory note, recognizing the Colegio’s recent athletic achievement as the Letran Lady Knights secured the NCAA Season 101 Women’s Volleyball Championship. The community likewise commended Finals MVP Judiel Nitura and Coach of the Year Mayeth Carolino for their exemplary performance and leadership. In addition, the Letran Alumni Association conferred the Alumnus Honoria to Frank Lao and Jacob Lao of the Strong Group Athletics in recognition of their continued support for Letran’s sports program.

As the Colegio strengthens engagement with its alumni community, all Letranites are encouraged to update their records and remain actively involved in institutional initiatives.
