The Research and Publication Department announces the publication of a scholarly article by Assoc. Prof. Eric N. Awi, PhD, Dean of the College of Education, Liberal Arts, and Sciences; Ms. Geraldine C. Lagmay, MBIED, LPT, Senior High School Principal; and Ms. Audrey Joyce M. Valderrama, LPT, MST, STEM Faculty.

Their article, “Using Open-Educational Resources (OERs) for Hyflex Learning in Limited Face-to-Face Science Instruction,” has been published in Open Praxis, a Q2 Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed journal published by the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE).

Open Praxis provides a global platform for research and innovation in open, online, distance, and flexible education, featuring studies in open education, lifelong learning, educational technology, and emerging developments across higher education and K–12 contexts.

Through this publication, the authors contribute to the growing body of international scholarship on Hyflex learning and the strategic use of Open Educational Resources (OERs) in science instruction. Their study offers evidence-based insights on enhancing flexibility, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness in evolving academic environments.
