Kapihan series continues with a talk on jeepney modernization

The Kapihan seminar series moved to ‘Ang Pagbabago sa Biyahe ni Juan: Jeepney Modernization’, held last February 13 at the Mabini Hall.

It was organized by third year Political Science students under the guidance of Assistant Professor Sherman Gabito, the chairperson of the Political and Legal Studies Area.

The seminar was about the upcoming Public Utility Vehicle Modernization and its advantages and disadvantages.

The two speakers who explained and expounded on the sociopolitical issue were Steve Ranjo, the secretary general of Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide and Mark de Leon, the assistant secretary of the Department of Transportation’s Road Transport and Infrastructure.
